A convocation of jurists in the service of law, honour and country.
The Chamber is not a regulator, nor a bar association. It is a non-partisan learned society, private, selective, and devoted to scholarship, mentorship and civic contribution. Membership is by invitation, on the basis of achievement, character and service.

Non-Regulatory
A voluntary learned society, distinct from the General Legal Council and the Ghana Bar Association.

Non-Partisan
Independent of political affiliation, guided solely by the discipline of law and public interest.

Selective
Invitation-only fellowship extended on the basis of merit, integrity and contribution.

Annual Convocation
A yearly gathering of Fellows for the presidential address, lectures, debates and the induction of new members into the fellowship.

A structured programme through which Fellows contribute expertise to civil society, legal aid and community organisations.

A Founding Council of jurists and stewards.
The Chamber is governed by a Founding Council that convenes the first cohort of Fellows, adopts the Institutional Framework and stewards the Chamber toward full incorporation as a company limited by guarantee under the Companies Act, 2019.
